Smooth Red Wine & Sausage !!

Need something different to do with Sausage?

Why not try this easy recipe that any home cook can do!!

Pick out what kind of sausage you like sweet ,hot,flavored,kielbasa,Etc
Hold on the side

In a large Fry pan add some olive oil heat till pan is hot..then add a large finely sliced white onion turn down to low or 6 on your stove.
Next add 6 to 8 cloves of fresh garlic sliced or 1/2 of a tablespoon of minced garlic
once onions have sweated you will then need 1 cup of red wine a Merlot or Cab is fine.
add a few springs of thyme.
follow that with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a teaspoon of Dijon mustard.
Then add a dash of Balsamic Vinegar
Salt and pepper dash

simmer mix


while that is simmering cut your sausage diagonally and add to sauce cover and simmer until sausage is cooked.

Add a great Mashed potato to your plate !
And enjoy!!
